Presented by SOLAR, a collective of women photographers co-founded in Marseille by Orianne Ciantar Olive, Giulia Frigieri, Julia Gat, Tina Masoumi, and Kamila K. Stanley, this exhibition marks the collective’s official launch in France. Curated by Carla Alberny, the show brings together new and existing works from the six artists.
More than an exhibition, We Will Not Destroy the World, We Will Create a New One celebrates the beginning of a network amplifying plural women’s perspectives from the Mediterranean. The launch included talks, portfolio reviews, and community gatherings around photography and solidarity.

As part of the cultural event “Lecture par Nature”, organized by the Métropole Aix–Marseille–Provence whose 8th edition explored the theme of water, Tina Masoumi presented her photographic series Femme, Mer, Liberté at the Intercommunal Library of Cornillon-Confoux.

Presented at Provence Art Contemporain in Marseille, this group exhibition brought together artists from Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Iraq, Iran, Colombia, and Syria to explore censorship, artistic freedom, and the effects of authoritarian power on creative expression.
Tina Masoumi presented her series Marked by Morality, addressing censorship and the control of women’s bodies under the morality police in Iran, and reflecting on how these dynamics resonate within artistic and institutional contexts.

Presented at Le Pangolin in Marseille, this collective and participatory photography exhibition invited artists to explore the theme of self-portraiture as a space for reflection and connection.
The event marked the start of the 2024–2025 season, celebrating photography, exchange, and creative community. A special fanzine, BizaPhoto 8, was published by editor Arnaud Bizalion to accompany the exhibition.

In November, we dive into the Mediterranean with Seaside Stories, an exhibition bringing together three women photographers , Tina Masoumi, Julia Gat, and Giulia Frigieri.
Through their images, they explore their relationships with the sea , a space of memory, freedom, and connection , from Marseille to Iran and Italy.
