About
Born in 1999 in Iran, Tina Masoumi now lives in exile in France, where she studies at the Beaux-Arts of Aix-en-Provence. As a documentary-inspired photographer, she is passionate about telling the stories of individuals, particularly those often overlooked. Tina believes in the power of sharing human experiences to foster empathy and connection. As a young artist, she continually explores new forms of self-expression, to deepen her narrative storytelling.
Education
Tina Masoumi began studying cinema during high school in northern Iran, where she developed a passion for visual storytelling. Currently, she is a student at the Beaux-Arts of Aix-en-Provence, where she continues to refine her artistic practice, blending personal narratives with fine art photography.
In 2025, she will further her artistic journey as a participant in the prestigious long-term photobook program by the Penumbra Foundation, where she will focus on developing her first photobook project.
