in november, we dive into the mediterranean with a new exhibition.
seaside stories is the meeting between 3 women photographers: @juliagatphotography @tinaamasuomi and @giuliafrigieriphoto.
through this exhibition, they tell their stories, their relationships with this sea and form a single dialogue within their new base: marseille.

a captivating but elusive sea.
thanks to her series of photos "tales of two seas", @tinamasuomi tells us the observation that she lives between Iran, her native country and marseille, her heart city.
"here reigns a feeling of freedom" ... she shares her relationship with the sea and freedom as a woman in Iran where the simple pleasure of swimming freely was denied her.
@juliagatphotography, we don't need to introduce her to you anymore... after winning several awards in recent years, we also saw her at the Rencontres d'Arles in 2022.
For Seaside Stories, we dive into her world with a series of unpublished photos.
it is the story of the links she created between her new daily life in marseille and her childhood on the other side of the sea.
named "mare internum", the series presents the infinite ways in which people indulge in the joys of the mediterranean.
third photographer for this exhibition: @giuliafrigieriphoto takes us to italy, on the archipelago of the aeolian islands off the sicilian coast.
"volcano generation" tells the slow rhythm of these islands that shapes the past, present and future of the young people who live there.
a glimpse of a tense adolescence in this paradise surrounded by nature.
